Audition for Northwest Girl's Choir

Monti auditioned for the Northwest Girl's Choir here in Seattle. In
the audition she worked with an instructor to find her range. Monti
explained to the woman that her goal was to be able to reach the
highest note on the piano. The woman told Monti that no one can get
that high but she did offer Monti some words of encouragement. She
said that Monti was only 5 notes away from the highest note she had
ever heard someone sing. After Monti sang her solo the lady said they
would love to have Monti join their choir in the Fall. She will do a
summer day camp with the choir in Seattle. After the camp we will be
able to better decide if joining the choir in September is the right
choice for her.
